Emergency Health Services encourages all households, families, and workplaces to have an emergency plan and well-stocked emergency kit.
Build Your Emergency Kit
- Water (1 gallon per person per day)
- Non-perishable food (At least 3-day supply)
- First aid kit
- Medications (7-day supply)
- Flashlight
- Extra batteries
- Battery-powered or hand crank radio
- Mobile phone and charger / power bank
- Cash ( small bills and coins)
- Important documents ( in waterproof bag)
- Whistle
- Multi-purpose tool
- Mask and hand sanitizer
- Comfort items (blanket, wipes, etc.)
- Extra clothing and sturdy shoes
